Two years ago, many organizations changed their supply chain security practices to address growing risks from vulnerable third-party software and open-source components. Dark Reading’s 2023 Supply Chain Threat survey of IT and cybersecurity professionals shows a high percentage of organizations have implemented processes for mitigating risk from vulnerabilities in the partner ecosystem, and there is strong awareness of what needs to be done to strengthen the security of the software supply chain.
